Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Wash Review – Tea tree is certainly one of the well-known ingredients for treating acne and oily skin types. It really is one of the wonderful ingredients for acne prone skin types looking for something natural =). Here is a cleanser that contains tea tree ingredients for acne-prone skin types =).
The naturally derived cleanser harnesses the antibacterial power of tea tree oil to gently remove excess oil, dirt and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural oils. It leaves the skin clearer, fresher and healthier. The foaming soap-free face wash is ideal for combination/oily skin and helps prevent acne and pimples.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Wash Review
I have checked the ingredients in CosDna and there is nothing that can irritate or clog the skin. All ingredients are safe and will not cause problems in the future. =) However, there are some people who may even be allergic to coconut, so check it out.
Thursday Plantation, Tea Tree Daily Cleanser 200ml
It’s a tea tree cleanser that’s really gentle and doesn’t dry out your skin. It contains no clogs or dangerous ingredients. It gently cleanses my skin and does not irritate my skin. I have been using this cleanser for 2 weeks and it has not broken out at all thanks to the soothing ingredients in it. This cleanser also has fewer ingredients to suit acne-prone skin types. I used to have these underground pimples but not anymore after using this =).
My skin is also well balanced and using this keeps the oil under control. The foam is soft, does not irritate and smells of tea tree =) . Remember to use a makeup remover to remove your makeup, as this foam is not enough to clean everything.
Overall, this is a cleanser that I highly recommend for acne-prone, sensitive skin types, as it is gentle, soap-free, and free of ingredients that can irritate acne-prone skin types.

It contains antibacterial pure tea tree oil to remove makeup and other impurities, while chamomile soothes redness. The formula is pH balanced and contains no soap, benzoyl peroxide, petrochemicals, mineral oils, synthetic parabens, propylene glycol, lauryl sulfates or animal ingredients.
Pure and natural properties: contains a significant amount of active natural ingredients, in addition to the usual synthetic irritants and cruelty-free.
The holy grail for anyone who has breakouts and wants an extra kick. When I use it in the shower, I like to leave it on for a few seconds as a quick “mask” and then wash it off, and I find it dries out active pimples well, but be warned, even if it dries. skin out and I HAVE to use a moisturizer afterwards so I only use this product a few times a week but I highly recommend it to anyone with acne who has Tea Tree products.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Wash For Acne 150ml
It’s a foaming cleanser, the packaging and pump are easy to use, it doesn’t dispense more product than necessary! It smells strongly of tea tree oil and dried out my skin! I didn’t get super red after using it and my skin even looked clean (but drier) after about half an hour, I was definitely oilier than usual! You need to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! I love the cooling sensation the leaves have on the skin for a short period of time, but I haven’t found it to help much with any pimple situations, having said that.. Pure tea tree oil doesn’t help me much either! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a gentle cooling cleanser and my sensitive skin tolerated it well! Always patch test with essential oils! It’s not good at removing makeup in my experience, especially the eyes!
This product smells super fresh and clean… very strong smell of tea tree oil Unfortunately it dried out my skin. I used it twice a week to balance my skin’s moisture levels. I like that it’s a foam and you control the amount that comes out with the pump. I felt pretty clean after using this cleanser, but not 100% clean. I usually have sensitive skin so after trying this product I was a bit irritated. It’s super affordable, so I’m happy with the price.
I loved using this product because it felt/smelled almost medicinal which immediately made me think it had less/no nasties and wouldn’t be harmful to your skin. My skin type is combination/sensitive, which is a difficult skin type because the products are often too harsh. But it’s a winner. It’s not harsh and doesn’t irritate my skin. I use it in the morning in the bath and my skin is fresh and ready for the day. I really like that it lathers too, it lathers really nicely. Don’t buy if you don’t like the smell of tea tree oil because it definitely smells like tea tree oil.
This is a great face wash for those who suffer from oily and acne prone skin. Tea tree oil itself is antibacterial, making it great for fighting annoying breakouts and getting rid of excess oil. The face wash is light but lathers nicely so you feel like it’s cleaning your face properly. What I liked the most was that it didn’t dry out my skin, so it didn’t cause any irritation or sensitivity. It’s a good alternative if you want to avoid ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, which can really dry out your skin.

One thing I feel like I always struggle with is acne. I’ve mentioned in a few posts my adult hormonal acne that just doesn’t seem to want to go away! When I was sent the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Acne range, I was curious to see how it worked. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I’m very impressed!
Let me start by saying that I have used tea tree oil in the past (not Thursday Plantation) and my skin doesn’t really make a difference. That said, I’ve heard so many good things about tea tree oil, so I was willing to give this line a try. There are 4 items in the entire series:
I really like this face wash. The lather is very thick and it definitely feels like you’re getting a deep clean. It did dry out my skin a bit, so I’d say it’s definitely recommended for oily skin. Even saying that, I didn’t feel like my skin was completely exfoliated and it felt smooth and clean.
Then tea tree and what hazel tonic. I would say this was my least favorite part of the range as I found the toner to be very strong and my skin felt very dry. I didn’t use it every day when I used the rest of the line and only used it on my very oily parts (t-zone). I think if you have really stubborn acne all over, this might be a good second step.

Next is the third step, the cream! I liked this cream, but I didn’t like it. I have found this to be a must every time I use toner. The cream feels very “medicinal” which is okay, but I didn’t enjoy using it as much as other creams I have. It definitely brought moisture back into my skin, which is definitely needed after using the previous parts of the routine!
Finally, my favorite part of the stuff I got to try is the spot treatment gel. I love it because I can feel a noticeable difference in my spots after just one night. It really dries out the spots, which is crazy. It can be hard to see the real difference with skin care, but I can definitely say that my large cystic spots improved significantly with this spot treatment.
Overall, I would say this line is definitely good for acne. Hormonal acne is a bit difficult for me to test because it comes as it is and is hard to avoid. I found that this line held my skin very well
