Sydney Town Hall Venue Hire – Massive, epic, awe-inspiring – these are the first impressions we get as we enter the iconic civic landmark that shaped Susan and Matthew’s epic wedding. With its 20-meter high ceiling and pilastered stained glass windows, the town hall is extremely luxurious and majestic. Our goal was to fill this large room with bright and fragrant fresh bouquets to make it look luxurious and worthy of such a prominent location.
To fill this whole wedding house, our huge group of florists took two newly packed wedding vans early in the morning and brought us to the city hall. As soon as we moved in, we started work on over 30 white rose wedding centerpieces, hand cut and arranged. We wanted the bride and groom to come in and blow up, and we had to get it all done by 4:30 p.m. Time is the essence.

With such a large venue, lighting plays a huge role in creating an intimate atmosphere for the night. We put a more romantic set of candles on the table, and we also shine blue, pink and purple lights along the walls towards the ceiling. These had a sensational effect as they filled the large space of the room and made the overall result grand and incomparable. With amazing heritage architecture and interior decoration. Inside, the grandeur of the vestibule and Centennial Hall provide a unique and eventful space.

Considered one of Australia’s largest surviving halls from the 19th century, Centennial Hall was completed in 1889 to honor Australia’s 100th anniversary.

The Vestibule was opened in 1880 as Sydney’s first Town Hall before the Centenary Hall was completed some nineteen years later. The elegant interior is topped by Australia’s oldest stained glass and a stunning oval dome that hangs a spectacular crystal chandelier.
The lobby can accommodate up to 200 people for a party, reception, exhibition, launch or special occasion. It is mainly used as a place for registration or as a pre-dinner reception for events held in the Centennial Lobby.
