Product Review: Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil
This day cream is luxurious and moisturizing! My skin feels soft, hydrated and glowing. Also, the product has a pleasant and gentle aroma – due to the inclusion of essential oils (tangerine, mandarin orange, lavender and vanilla). Ever since I started using a few items from the Sukin line I love the way my skin looks and feels. I think this cream might be a bit rich for oily skin, but it works well for my sensitive and combination (normal to dry) skin.

I also want to try rose hip oil, serum (there are so many, I haven’t decided which one), eye serum, night cream, facial scrub (there are so many, I haven’t decided which one.) and finally, micellar cleansing water. As I get older (read, life crisis of the year) I care more and more about my skin. It’s a far cry from my teenage days of partying and lying in bed with the remnants of my make-up still on.
I can’t sleep without getting my routine going these days, and I’m so glad I’m adding Suk’s Rosehip Hydrating Day Cream to my regimen. Gentle enough for all skin types, this is a lovely moisturizer that uses a blend of rose hip and pomegranate oils to combat dry skin and prevent signs of premature aging. Kakadu plum, rich in vitamin C, is an excellent ingredient for brightening your skin.

The day cream was born from the success of Sukin’s rosehip oil, which many people use for skin care. But not everyone likes to use oil in your regime and for those people Sukin has come up with this beautiful Rose Hip Day Cream.
The texture is light and smooth, and unlike some day creams that are thick and leave a pleasant residue. If you have dry or oily skin you can add to the oil for maximum moisture.
I have been using this day cream for five days now and I am very happy with the results. It absorbs so well and so quickly that after cleansing and using it in the morning, you can get your face out the door and out the door in no time. Sometimes when you use day creams your foundation looks slippery, but I didn’t get it with this one!

The packaging is beautiful and very true to Sukin’s aesthetic. The beautiful box showcases a generous sized glass jar – very generous considering its affordable price.
It’s a big, beautiful brown bottle that’s classy and looks great on your counter without taking up too much space. There is nothing worse than a day cream that has too little cream or is a weird shape to get your fingers into.
This is a great product and would recommend it to anyone. I didn’t even bother to buy one and send it to my mother! Despite its low weight, it seems to get the job done, a perfect product to use under the foundation.
I’ve been using it for less than a week now, so no verdict yet, but so far it’s helping with the dry skin around my nose and mouth- which happens to me in the winter!
