Donations can be brought to the pier outside CityThrift at 945 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. Dayton, OH 45417 Monday – Friday 10am-6pm or call the 24-hour donation dock located at the Shelter for Women and Families at 120 W Apple St.
You can bring and use almost anything, but we recommend that you check our list of unacceptable items before submitting a donation.

June Update — Society Of St. Vincent De Paul
Spring cleaning, this year is also the season for quarantine cleaning. After cleaning, there are often piles of items waiting to be donated. But with many businesses closed this year, finding a place to take these shipwrecks can be difficult.
Waukesha County’s St. Vincent de Paul is providing a solution to reopen for donations on April 27. Oconomowoc and Waukesha locations, W359 N5848 Brown St. and 818 W. Sunset Drive are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each. Monday to Saturday. The inside of the store is still closed.

“Instead of getting out of the vehicle, we’ll ask them to stay in the vehicle, so there’s not a lot of contact between the people who come to donate and the people who work here,” Colburn said.
Donations Needed At St. Vincent De Paul
In Waukesha County, the St. Vincent de Paul location closed March 24, one day before Gov. Tony Ever implemented the state’s stay-at-home order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
“The law allowed us to do business, but we couldn’t do business because there were too few customers,” Colburn said. “Knowing that our community will need St. Vincent de Paul when this all ends, we have begun accepting donations to be prepared.”
The Pewaukee location won’t open until June 17, but Colburn said there are four donation boxes on the property at Highway 16 and Ryan Street. Vincent de Paul bought a property called Lake Country Square for $2.81 million in December.
The Vincent de Paul store will occupy the 53,000 square feet of space previously occupied by Pick ‘n Save.

Change has come as the coronavirus pandemic continues and calls for community compliance.
St. Oshkosh. Business is slowly returning to pre-COVID-19 levels at Vincent De Paul. Since the nonprofit reopened in June, donations have continued to pour in, so the organization is grateful for the community’s generosity.
According to store manager Cyndi Trent, “Oshkosh, Omro and Winneconne are very generous. The first week we took almost 150 pallets.”
But as part of the reopening during the pandemic, things have changed. Shoppers are now required to wear masks inside the store, and instead of accepting daily donations, Oshkosh’s St. Vincent will alternate drop-off and pickup.

“One week we make donations in the store, and the next week we collect the community. So that’s what we’re doing now. This week we will do joint pickups, says Trent.
Hard objects such as furniture are cleaned before entering the store. Soft things such as clothes and bedding are insulated. It stays in stock for a week before appearing in stores.
With the new donation plan, employees are not only better able to track what comes in, but they are also better at giving.
Trent adds: Also because of the Wisconsin factor//If you drop an item on Saturday, it could be ruined if it’s not returned by Monday.”

Security cameras in the drop-off area and large signs announcing the rules are there to discourage people from simply throwing things away. and St. Vincent De Paul staff encourage communities to do the right thing. We accept donations Monday through Saturday between 10am and 7pm in the Florence, Cold Spring and Falmouth areas.
*Donation drop-off at our Erlanger locations is available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.*
Donations can be collected anywhere from 12 noon on Sunday. until 5 p.m

Clothing Donations Being Accepted Again At Windsor Essex Charities
Used goods give someone a second chance. Drop off new or unused clothing, furniture, household items or appliances at one of the four Northern Kentucky donation centers.
We collect products from different locations on different days of the week. Call 859-446-7719 to schedule an appointment in your area. A $20 donation to offset increased shipping costs is appreciated but not required. You can pay this donation online by credit card or by postal check. Drivers do not accept cash or checks for pickup.
