Finally found a replacement!! Years ago I had one from Solomist! They are no longer in business, but my machine still works fine, the gun not so much. But I finally found an alternative! Yes!!!

Within a month (this is 4 uses for me) the gun stops working and I have tried several troubleshooting methods to fix it with no success. 3 things I don’t recommend the Alba Spray Tan Machine Professional HVLP Spray Gun for sunless tanning: * Too noisy. Its specifications promise a quiet motor, but it’s really loud. * Low quality spray gun spray droplets, difficult to control the application flow, very complicated to use, the end result is not flawless. *Contrary to this description the heat action during coloring is not felt on the skin. I personally bought it because of the heating function, for thermal comfort used in the colder months. So there is no heat/heat coming from it, but the unit itself heats up very quickly which is a concern. The machine will not last long. I gave it 1 out of 5 stars because the overall quality of this machine is very poor. Disappointed. I return it.

Despite the bad reviews, I decided to buy this model because it’s the best value with a very powerful motor (which means fast tuning times), and I figured I’d return it if it was really bad. I will first address some of the objections to negative reviews. Toner has a heating function. You need to remove the tanning gun, which blows hot air through a hose to dry your tan. There isn’t a spray tanner on the planet that releases a hot liquid, and even if it did, it would be cold on the skin. People with common sense. It has an automatic shut-off function to prevent the motor from overheating. But 15 minutes is enough if the elephant is not colored. It’s not a professional machine, nor is it priced like one, so unless you plan on toning more than 2 people at the same time, you’ll be fine. It spreads a fine mist, not drippy. I’ve used many spray tanners over the years and other than the professional guns I used when I worked at the solarium, this is the best mist I’ve ever gotten from a home tanning gun. The only reason it will leak is if the tip of the gun is dirty and/or you are using poor quality/old solution. It makes no more noise than a hair dryer. I would say really cool. The solution cup is large enough. Packing on a ton of solution won’t darken your tan, only a high DHA solution will, so if you tan properly you won’t go through a full cup or two of solution. Although I can’t say how long it will last, my last $90 spray tanner lasted 8 years because I took care of it. I’ve never cut it, the power cord has never been knotted (I wrap it around the machine), it’s been kept clean, protected from heat and moisture, and stored in a bag when not in use. I look forward to many good years of use with it!

Tanning for 4 years, my old machine died, bought this one but not very satisfied because it’s very noisy and the solvent doesn’t spray the body properly and the tan takes a long time so my old one is easy on the machine it’s not really hard. A professional tans with it, and one word: intimidating

After reading previous negative comments about this machine, I was afraid to buy it before! I have to say, I’m happy with it so far! I am in the beauty industry and I use this machine for my personal use at home. I recommend it for home use. I’m not sure how this will continue
