The curved design cannot be bypassed. Did they do this to look more like the iPhone 6? Didn’t they realize that the iphone 6 is the ugliest iPhone design to date after the plastic iphone 3gs that looks like the edge of the S7 especially in black.

The return of the SD card makes sense as Marshmallow finally allows proper SD card support. This is probably the only feature I like in a marshmallow.
I hope they release the S7 plus along with the Note 6 at the end of the year. A 6.5-inch screen would be fine considering the standard S7 edge is 5.5 inches.

The GS6 was by far the best Samsung or any OEM phone ever released in my opinion and on the internet almost every review site praised the looks of the GS6.

Personally, I think the s6 Edge variant has a more aesthetically pleasing look compared to the standard S6 tbh. I can still wait a few weeks to see if I can get a cheaper price despite launching on the day/week.
As much as I like the look of the Edge 5.5, I’m in a position where I feel like it adds more complications in terms of cases/screen protectors.
I don’t think I would be comfortable using it without a screen protector, especially in terms of resale value later.

It loses some of that – I don’t know how to describe it – “smoothness” compared to the S6. But I still think these are the right measures. From the leaked video alone, you can already see that the ergonomics of this device will be much better.
I like what I see so far. I can’t wait to see platinum silver in all its glory.
It’s ugly AF to be honest. They took 5 steps forward aesthetically with the S6 and now this looks like a metallic remake for the S3.

The waterfall edge of the screen looks sharper on the S7 than on the S6, and it’s similar in comparison to the iPhone 6/6s (don’t blame Samsung for copying…before Samsung supporters got all hyped up.
). It also looks like they are finally using the proper flat black for the frame. It definitely takes some cues from the iPhone — the aforementioned bezel, the black bezel, and the home button and speaker — and I think that’s a good thing because I like the design cues.

It’s too bad you think the gs6 is ugly but the note 5 is so much better as I use both my personal gs6 and note 5 phones for work and they look almost identical minus the size and the curved back which you don’t once can see before you hold the phones.
