Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Shades – I feel like my concealers last a lifetime and when my previous concealer (Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer) finally wore off I was happy to have a new look at Superdrug. I read a lot of reviews about all the different concealers on the market and had a tough decision, but in the end I chose the Rimmel Awaken Concealer.
I tried all the different concealers and matched them to my skin to the point where I ran out of trial areas and ended up with Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer £5.49 (which you can buy here) in Ivory as it suits my skin best and it really promises to brighten the under eye area to ‘wake up’, that’s what I need in the morning to go to United.

First impressions: everyone was great! The size of the bottle (7ml) will definitely last as long as my previous concealer. The applicator is like a lip gloss, which is not what I expected, but it’s good to be precise and control the amount of product used because we all know about applicators that give too much and spill.

Product Usage: I am very impressed with this product. A full coverage concealer where a little goes a long way and its vitamin ingredients hydrate the skin without leaving it dry (a problem I have with previous products). It lasts all day and helps hide dark circles, blemishes and other blemishes. I’m currently using the L’Oreal True Match foundation and the two work well together, combining to give a flawless finish.
Will I redeem? I love testing new products, but for the price and quality of this item, I will definitely be purchasing again in the future. It’s a full coverage product and doesn’t look tacky and again I’ve been very impressed with Rimmel products.

Today I want to show you a Rimmel London drugstore secret. I’m not too pretentious when it comes to this makeup, because I don’t often call it dark circles. However, I need decent coverage and a good formula that will brighten my undereye area and make my skin glow.

After a few hours of sleep, when I’m tired and exhausted, I just want to grab my magic wand and cover up the darkness. So what I love about the Wake Me Up concealer is that it delivers the promised “anti-fatigue effect”.
It has a creamy liquid formula, is very easy to use and apply, and has good coverage. Also, the shade 001 Ivory seems to suit my skin very well. It’s a shade or two lighter than my foundation and blends easily, so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing sunglasses – if you know what I mean.
Apart from the under eye area, I usually apply the product to the bridge of my nose, chin and between my forehead (basically the T-zone) to ensure I cover any redness and brighten the skin. .
It looks really nice and fresh, it’s non-sticky, blends well, and you only need a small amount of product to get good coverage. Also, it has subtle shimmers, but nothing over the top, just a little more to give your skin a glow and glow.

I like it better than other concealers I’ve tried so far. I’ve had bad experiences with concealers from Alverde and Avon in the past, which didn’t work for me at all, so this one is much better.
However, if extreme coverage is what you’re looking for, it probably won’t be enough. MAC, NARS or other top brands have high quality concealers, so you should invest in one. But if you’re looking for a great everyday product at a reasonable price, you’ve got nothing to lose if you decide to try the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer.
Not very good at covering pimples or blemishes. If you have skin problems like acne, you should focus on the problem areas and use more products, maybe use a special concealer – something I recommend.
Also, it clumps a bit on my face. I always set it with a light layer of foundation (I try not to use too much, not to get it all over the place) but it will always wear off eventually. It’s not really noticeable and only happens after a few hours, but it’s still something worth mentioning.

One more thing: I love the subtle glow, it boosts the skin’s glow and makes it look so fresh, but not everyone feels the same way. So if you want a matte finish, you should look for another product.
Also, I noticed that it blends better if I use it with my fingers, maybe with a beauty blender (or ass, it doesn’t have to be original). I tried applying it with an Ebelin concealer brush and it didn’t blend well. Maybe it was a brush? I don’t know, but I definitely prefer the blender beauty method.
Would I buy it again? Probably yes. All in all, the price is great, the quality is very good, and you can choose between 4 colors (Ivory Ivory, Real Ivory, Classic Beige, Soft Beige).
