So far, taking the next step has been very rewarding. I am very excited to help my new team grow and fast track for quick success. I wanted to create a fun and welcoming culture where the team wanted to be here and it’s great to see the smiles on everyone’s faces. I was also very happy to make the step from agent to director, as it just added something new to my daily routine. It definitely keeps me busy, but it also helps not only me, but also my team to get more opportunities. The office we have built is something to be proud of and since we are working in local markets it makes it very easy to meet local people and business owners.
The main task was to find a suitable place and location. This was critical as we only wanted to do it once, which meant we got it right the first time. Setting up the new office physically took a long time and a lot of thought went into planning. In the end, the whole process took more than six months, which was a long time to wait for something so exciting! Trying to juggle setting up a new office and selling a property has been quite a challenge, but it has helped me improve my time allocation, that’s for sure!
There are so many parts of the new office that I love! I’m a big fan of the LED lighting at the front of the building, it’s become our signature – you can’t miss it! Also, the reception area has a really good look, it is definitely attractive to clients and customers. And who would pass by our lounge downstairs, so much fun! Such a big place with a TV, great sound system, beautiful wallpaper, bean bag chairs and a ping pong table is perfect. Most people don’t realize how big an office is until you look inside!
