The place is beautiful. Pure. Well cared for animals. A wonderful restoration. Many types of animals. I was alone and I enjoyed every place very much. I hope that the big birds will have more airspace and more time to fly. Although they were thinking of building a large pop-up style aviary or zoo.
Lone Pine was beautiful. The whole family enjoyed the bird show, koalas, exotic birds and kangaroo feeding. My youngest daughter especially enjoyed hearing all the different animal sounds and having her picture taken with the koala. He will be back soon. Happy family day.

It was a beautiful place to visit. Although we would have liked more animals in the barn (not just keeping chickens). I thought we would be able to catch a koala. Really basic. Paying extra for a garden map is stupid. The whole experience only lasted an hour.
Highly recommended for young people. As a young family there was plenty of parking which is a bonus when you have a little one. The walk wasn’t too tiring for them and the animals on display were really well presented in an easy visual way for my 2 year old.

We had a great family time at the koala sanctuary. I took a picture of the koala, petted the kangaroo and fed it with my hands. It was a unique experience. We got to see a lot of animals. The bird show was amazing! Most importantly, we saw a platypus swimming. It is worth visiting.
I had a great day. Although our visit to Lone Pine Sanctuary was stuck. The grandchildren loved seeing all their favorite animals: flying foxes, wombats, snakes and koalas. The Bird of Prey program was very informative and we all enjoyed the information and the program. Lone Pine remains one of the highlights of a visit to Brisbane.
