The hotel staff were lovely, made a good effort with bonbons and a birthday card for my partner’s birthday. But there was a strong smell of illness in the house, as if the patients had not been cleaned properly. I couldn’t resist staying at the Ibis again, but in hindsight I should have asked to change rooms.
