The only way to get around New York (besides the subway) – great guides – visit Brooklyn with a taxi driver – it’s awesome

The staff was unfriendly and not much help on the roads the pick up location is not marked with visible signs

The cost isn’t worth the money provided by the service, but if it’s your first visit, a day ticket is enough to get around and figure out where you want to go. It’s an expensive sight to see if you ask me, but I’d recommend the subway to maximize your time as the traffic is horrendous and time-consuming. Plan ahead and make the most of your experience here in New York.

The bus was very good, safe, the driver was very careful compared to other drivers. The tour speaker was very knowledgeable but you could barely understand him at times.

Gray Line buses are old and broken. You put on earbuds to listen to the guide and many outlets don’t work and you’re out of luck because you can’t move because there aren’t open seats that get old. Crowds, long lines, rude employees, employees openly talking about how they were tired of the job and couldn’t wait to leave… don’t pick this line, there are others but they have to. Don’t know if I’ll ever choose the gray line. Again!

New York Passes

I am a AAA travel agent. I have done this trip twice this year. I highly recommend the Brooklyn Link tour because of the tour guide. His name is Tom Koka. He is faithful. He knows a lot about the different boroughs and gives great tips for the city. He recommended eating pizza in the Dumbo neighborhood and trying Grimaldi’s. He did not disappoint. Best pizza I’ve ever had. He is friendlier and more knowledgeable than the other guides on the various links. I will recommend it to all my clients. You have a fan for life, Tom! Thanks!

Our tour guide was funny and awesome. The only problem was that we were not being dropped off where we were picked up.

Worst service!! What a waste of money and time! No one knew what the different answers were to the questions that were inconsistent. Confused about where to stay. At one stop a gentleman who worked for the company was rude to passing women if it was a good way to get customers. We were offended by his comments.

The start was delayed by half an hour in the rain before being transferred to another bus. Not Good. No communication. When the guide spoke, the context was very limited and repetitive. Probably a bad night for the bus, crew and guests.

Days In New York City

The waiting time is very short these days, the commentary usually poor and some pre-recorded. Londoners are much nicer and generally more professional. A cruise on the river was nice.

The tour guide stops for several minutes and gets food. We are waiting in the bus. As described. A short journey without history. The bus was running red lights 25+xs. Stupid facts. A dirty bus. Bought 4 tickets and it was very interesting.

We created 2 different links for these tours. First we couldn’t understand the rough tone of the guide. English is our first language but the guide was lovely but he was a foreigner which is great in most situations but not where we paid to listen to him but… money down the drain. was The second link was able to understand the guide and was very informative but as we were from Australia and not sure how to get back to our hotel we asked the guide for directions on how to get back to the subway. His instructions were very vague so my 16 year old asked for clarification and the guide barked at him “I already told you”. Never again.!!

Can’t hear anything and none of the ear jacks work. I also think the people who check your tickets to get on the bus could use some sensitivity training.

City Sightseeing Toronto: Hop On, Hop Off Tour

The dirty bus, ran through more than 25 red lights, the guide stopped for seven minutes to eat for himself. The guide gave stupid information, i.e. rooftop parties, sales with shops, best wine, places to go out, just boring stuff when the sound works! No easy journey. NO LANDMARKS! No date! Great period

The tickets got messed up so when I printed 3 of them they all came out as the same ticket and we had to go to the port authority to get them corrected. After that we took a bus into the theater district and got a real guide and listened to all his commentary and it was great! Then we went out to have lunch in the village and came back to a disaster. There was no real tour guide, it was automated on earphones that didn’t work. The female bus driver then ran up the stairs to announce each stop by yelling #. Then she didn’t stop at all and as we were getting ready to get off her we got down and asked her what her next stop was and she replied “No”! When he stopped the bus he told us “Dun”, “Go home” and off we went. Total waste of time and $$ for this part of the trip but the first part was great – we should have stayed on the bus!!

Went to their office in NYC to change my hop on hop off tour from one night to one day. Unfortunately no one there was friendly enough to help. I am not using the ticket and am losing $59 on my end. There will be no Gray Line travel in sight in the future.

A loud and rude guide on our first bus was expecting a tip. It just looked like it was mixed in with Mikano and Di.
