He Died With A Felafel In His Hand
If hell is for other people, Danny has experienced the torture of Hadith over and over again. He had just moved into apartment 47, this time in Brisbane, and his roommates had not improved. One lives in a closet and the other in a tent in a hotel, where Danny endures devil worshippers, skinheads and the ubiquitous reeds before heading to Melbourne’s 48th Common. No wonder he’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown. That and being a budding writer with little future is enough to drive anyone over the edge. But as a full-time Massachusetts native and roommate, Danny finds himself reliving it all over again: same nightmare, different location.

At least we would get the bond money from him…”

Danny (Noah Taylor) is in his twenties and lives in flat 47. Obsessed with all the classic male existential dilemmas and the icons they embody, Danny tries to make sense of the strange and unexpected strangeness that comes from living with a group of complete strangers.
Starting with the tropical, testosterone-filled environment of Brisbane, many men, and chubby girl Sam (Emily Hamilton), Danny decides to save himself by writing his ultimate survival novel. The arrival of Anya (Romane Bohringer) and a Miami Vice-style rental crisis derail her life, and ultimately the house she lives in.
House #48 in Melbourne…rain, snow, heavy rain bugs and wearing black. Danny finds himself in a Kafkaesque nightmare, taking on the character of a town with a few philosophical detectives and a hard-core collection of his abandoned followers, and eventually finds himself in Victoria, where the police tend to shoot. a murderer
Sydney and Danny run roughshod over “Melrose on Acid” and re-enter New Los Angeles with a sea view as Sydney and Danny escape to #49 and encounter the “Hetero-Fascist Sterility Conspiracy” life conspiracy in the busy city. In this nightmare, he drags and screams his way through the emotional upheaval, eventually leading the way to his own redemption.
He Died With A Felafel In His Hand
Through it all, Danny finds himself caught up in a seemingly unremarkable love triangle between three people who are doomed to chase each other through hell in an endless, unwanted, daisy chain…
The VHS and DVD releases provided the pitch for the cover of “Some People Will Do Anything to Pay the Rent…” as incentives, “based on the book by John Birmingham” and “with a hip and rocking soundtrack featuring Moby, Nick Cave and Strangers.” “.

But as a full-time Massachusetts native and roommate, Danny finds himself reliving it all over again: same nightmare, different location. It’s not pretty, but it’s fun – for us anyway.
From the acclaimed director of Space Dogs comes this 20/30 tale from hell starring Noah Taylor (Almost Famous; Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) and Sophie Lee (Castle; Boatman). Forget ‘Big Brother’ and check out life in the real world with a bunch of goons, psychos and the occasional trifle, and he died with a felafel in his hand.

Here’s a very detailed synopsis of the film on Wiki, complete with cast (and spoilers). It’s so long and detailed that it’s very useful for anyone wanting to know about the film, and it spawns the Wiki-style “thought police” that the site is sometimes unfortunately famous for.
Next to the “Coast” image came this familiar warning: “The plot summary for this episode may be too long or overly detailed. Help improve it by removing unnecessary details and making it more concise. (March 2013)
Inevitably, while it’s still long, Thought Police has done some trimming, balancing out the other wiki’s imbalances, even if the lengthy content is short on other details of the film.
That said, the longer version gives a better flavor of the film’s character, style, and style, so this site has taken most of it (minus some details about things like the Reed Horn and Queenslander House) at the bottom of the page’s “About the Movie” section, along with a few Changing details and adding more to make it longer – no doubt annoying the wiki police in the process. (Thanks to the original author of the long wiki version who is a long time fan of the film).
