The additional evening frequency, which will operate until January 31, 2023, is intended to meet increased demand for travel to and from Mauritius and will promote connectivity with the island nation.
Emirates To Launch Double Daily A380 Flights To Mauritius
Emirates’ third daily flight to Mauritius will operate with the following schedule (all local times): EK 709 departs Dubai at 22:10 and arrives in Mauritius at 0445am. EK 710 departs Mauritius at 06:30 and arrives in Dubai at 1305.
Tuesday’s daily flight will increase seating capacity to and from Mauritius by approximately 35%, meeting increased demand and further supporting the tourism industry during one of the busiest travel seasons. The additional frequency complements the existing 2-day Airbus A380 services and gives customers traveling to Mauritius greater flexibility in planning their trip. They have an early morning arrival option at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in addition to the existing EK 0701 service, which arrives mid-morning, and EK 0703, which arrives in the early evening.
Passengers departing from Mauritius will also have multiple options to securely and seamlessly connect to Dubai, and through Dubai and beyond with Emirates’ network of 130 global destinations. All three daily flights offer a codeshare with Air Mauritius to allow greater access and a seamless travel experience to and from the island nation.
