Singapore Airlines: Fly via Singapore to Bali. It works for a long journey and is only suitable if you want to stay in Singapore (which I highly recommend) or want to fly with this airline. Singapore Airlines is an international airline, but you pay for what you get.
Malaysia Airlines: Maylasian Airlines flies from Kuala Lumpur and then to Bali, which is cheaper than flying directly with other airlines. It’s only worth it if you want to relax in Kuala Lumpur.
Cathay Pacific: Flights stop in Hong Kong, which can be more expensive than direct flights with other airlines. Again, this is only useful if you want to combine your stay in Bali with a trip to Hong Kong.
Qantas: Qantas does not fly to Bali, but does offer shared flights with Jetstar. For example, Qantas will take you to an Australian city or Singapore, and from there you will take a Jetstar flight to Bali. So unless you have to stop in an Australian city or Singapore, I don’t see much value in traveling this way to travel with Qantas for part of your trip.

This article will look at flights to Bali from Australia that you can choose from. My disclaimer here is that this is a review of my experiences. I am an Australian living in Bali and have made the trip many times. However, the airlines change. The programs change. If I am talking about Malindo flights from Brisbane, I have no idea if they will soon stop flying and change flights to Sydney. I will try to be as precise as possible and to keep things on the facts that I know so far.
That said, let’s get down to business and talk about flights to Bali from Australia.

If you are reading this review, this is probably your first time looking for a flight to Bali. You could be a first time visitor or a first time traveler. Or maybe you are in the past and looking for the review and opinions of others on another level. Fair enough.
I spoke to my daughter recently. She was booking flights to Bali as we talked and her question for me was about Malindo Air. She had never heard of it before. However, I have flown with them many times and take a quick look at them.
So, if that’s the kind of thing you want to know, then you’ve come to the right place!
Things to know before leaving. Well, this is similar to most international flights, so it’s no surprise. But I can give you two tips.
Flights From Melbourne (mel) To Denpasar (dps)
Upon arrival in Bali, you will go from the airport to the airport. This is a new international airport and the arrivals hall is large. Don’t even get me started on the OLD airport. It was very small, customs and immigration were chaotic. During the night there were about 6 or 7 flights from Oz arriving at the same time! Fortunately, they built a new international terminal and the old one was used for domestic flights.
When you enter the hotel, keep your Passport and Arrivals Card at hand. It is now fully electronic, so after filling it out, you will receive a barcode or something similar that you will need to check when you go through customs. If you do not have it, or for some reason you cannot enter, you can collect your old documents from the counters near the baggage claim. I don’t know how long it will take.
At the airport, most travelers heading to Bali go directly to the check-in counter. It’s after twelve and if things go smoothly (which usually doesn’t) it should be enough to open.
As an Australian, you are eligible for visa-free entry. This is not to be confused with a free visa, which is not available. You can enter WITHOUT a visa. You have to stamp your passport. It allows you to enjoy Bali for up to 30 days, it will not be exchanged for 1 month. 30 DAYS! Then you have to leave.
Cheap Flights To Denpasar From $469 In 2022
If you wish to stay for more than 30 days, you can go to the counter in the center of the Arrivals Hall and purchase a Visa on Arrival (VOA). This increases your budget and can be extended once, which means you can stay up to 60 days. It costs $ 50 AUD and you have to pay for the upgrade, but I don’t know what the price is now. (This was done in an immigration office in Bali).

When you go through immigration, you collect your bags, go through customs and scan the barcode. You are supposed to run your bags through the X-ray machine, but only 1 in 10 are invited to do so. Then you are in Bali!
When you leave the center you will be greeted by both of you. The first is the effect of humidity, depending on the time of year, and the second is the group of drivers, buses and entertainment parties. It’s not as bad as it used to be and most will wait by the road before opening up for you. If you have an apartment, try organizing a photo. This is very easy. If not, the page will only give you a trustworthy look. If you realize you don’t know what you are doing, you can expect 1000 taxi offers etc.
