Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa – Finding that perfect place where I feel right at home while traveling is one of the most difficult tasks in my opinion. Especially if you are away from home for months. I’m always looking for a place that has a homey feel and that’s exactly what we found when we found Villas Aqua Octaviana Bali.
We stayed here for over two months and after that we never wanted to leave. So let me tell you about this beautiful place, and what makes it so special to us…

I searched online for days before I found this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the quiet village of Umalas. Just minutes from Seminyak and famous beach clubs like Potato Head, Ku De Ta and The W Hotel. Great view with hot tub right on our private grounds!

What we love about our penthouse suite is the beautiful antique furniture. The cool thing about this hotel is that each room is decorated differently. It really feels like a small house.
There are beautiful Balinese clothes everywhere in the room. We love these little personal touches. I love the details and Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa has thought of everything.
When we arrived here in Bali we were very stressed and tired, so getting into our jacuzzi any time of the day was absolute heaven. Taking this rain of flowers are some of my fondest memories.
We were in the public pool and licked at least twice a day. The pool is big enough to accommodate a large workout. Octaviana Bali Villa is quiet and not too crowded. I don’t like too many tourists in one place and this place feels so peaceful, but still has enough visitors for a happy mood. There is also a spa and you can get a great massage almost any time of the day.

The complex is equipped with a large private terrace, so it is very pleasant to eat a meal while looking at this beautiful view. No one can fix it? When you see these pictures, you might think that these villas are more than your budget. No, they are not! You can browse this place on their website and Booking.com and you won’t believe their cheap room rates. I had to blink a few times before I believed it. I’m afraid it’s too good, but it’s true. Aqua Octaviana Bali villas really lived up to our expectations. The staff is very pleasant and upbeat. We have really felt at home here these last few months.
Here is another view of the pool from our backyard. We can see it every day and that’s what we do! Morning is our favorite time here.
Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa has many rooms even some rooms with private pool. We chose the Penthouse suite because it just had space and a view! Did I mention the scene before?
You can clearly see that our villa is perfectly hidden behind lush trees, so it feels very private without feeling completely enclosed. The garden is one of my favorite areas of the villa. It feels like an Asian story there.
The Bali Bible
I picked up this gorgeous dress at Bamboo Blonde in Seminyak in Bali. As you have read in my previous post, I am totally crazy about this brand.
If you want to be in a quiet and safe environment while only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. This is the right place. We rented motorbikes to go everywhere fast so we stayed here, we are pretty close to all the hot spots of Seminyak and Kuta. Like I said, just rent a scooter or motorbike. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to de-stress and relax for a few days.
1- You will be served a delicious breakfast and enjoy it in the privacy of your suite. They serve western style breakfast, as well as Indonesian dishes.
2- Visit Nook restaurant in just few minutes by scooter. Nook has perfect views over some very beautiful rice fields and their delicious food is a must try. Enjoy one of the delicious day trip packages!
